Hi there, I'm Marco, the founder of Marco Pani Hairdressing. Training and experience are crucial to achieving success in the hairdressing industry. Our commitment to quality training is why we offer weekly training days every Monday for all our assistants.
During our training days, we cover all aspects of hairdressing, including blow drying, cutting and colouring, and we also try and work with various hair types, such as European, Afro and Asian hair. Doing so ensures that our team members gain a wide range of experience and maintain our high standards.
As someone with over 40 years of experience in hairdressing, I'm passionate about training and feel as a salon owner, it is essential to pass on my skills to the younger generation. Training is vital to maintain a consistent standard throughout our salon.
Our training program includes a day release for theory and practical training. However, the real learning begins when our trainees work with real clients in a natural salon environment. The pressure of running a column allows them to excel, even in the most challenging situations.
Over the years, our training program has been one of the key reasons we're one of the go-to hair salons in Altrincham. We keep our training days fun and energetic, and it's great to see our team members continue to learn, gain experience, and become talented young hairdressers. It's so rewarding to see someone you have trained yourself take their first steps onto the salon floor.
In addition to our in-house training, we also offer partnerships with outside organizations, such as L'Oreal. These partnerships provide our team members with additional opportunities to learn from the best and gain experience in every aspect of hairdressing while meeting like-minded creative individuals like themselves.
I oversee all models during our training days to ensure that our training is effective and safe. Our prices for models are incredibly affordable, at just £20 for cuts, £20 for root applications, and £35 for a full head of colour. Payment is made in advance to secure the booking.
